On July 23, 2015 the postal administration of the so-called Luhansk People's Republic - "LNR" released the first stamp dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet Michael Matusovsky, born in the city of Luhansk.
Michael L. Matusovsky (1915-1990) is a Soviet poet and songwriter. Laureate of the USSR State award (1977). Born in Luhansk on July 23, 1915. The monument dedicated to Matusovsky is located on the Red Square in Luhansk.
