On November 17, 2015 Post of Russia will issue a stamp dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Zlatoust arms factory. The stamp illustrates a dagger, which was made specially for the anniversary, with the old factory building on the background.
Zlatoust arms factory is the first Russian state-owned factory of edged weapons, one of the oldest enterprises in the Southern Urals. It was founded on December 16th 1815. In the XXI century Zlatoust factory remains the only company, which makes engravings on plates. Decorative wall panels, souvenirs and decorated dishes are popular both in Russia and abroad. Many products of masters of Zlatoust arms factory are considered unique pieces of art and some of them are kept in the most famous museums of the world.
