On November 27, 2015 Post of Russia will issue a stamp dedicated to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM). The stamp illustrates the headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow and the emblem of the department.
The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Affairs for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters is not only the federal executive body, but also one of the most powerful and effective emergency services of the world. Date of foundation of the EMERCOM is considered to be December 27th, 1990, when the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR formed Russian Rescue Corps.
